This workshop covers elements, basics, fundamental steps of dances that originated samba such as Jongo, Samba de Roda, Samba de Coco, Lundu and Maxixe. Utilizing some movement therapy principles, this workshop will help participants to learn how to connect mind, body and soul through the Samba rhythms. Participants will be experiencing Samba as an element of healing to improve Self- expressions , increase Self-Esteem, and implement positive coping skills to deal with other emotional issues through the Samba music and dance.
